Career Summary

Wendy Vandeventer is a Vice President with Grubb & Ellis’ Retail/Investment Services Group.  During her 18-year career, Ms. Vandeventer has been involved with the development, management, leasing, disposition and acquisition of investment properties throughout the United States and has extensive experience in all aspects of the investment sales transaction process.  She has been directly responsible for the structuring and implementation of marketing strategies for over $1.5 billion in investment properties.

Experience

Ms. Vandeventer began her career with Vantage Companies in Dallas where she was a member of the industrial leasing team.  She was active in the presentation and marketing of the projects as well as the lease coordination for a team of 3 industrial brokers.    Ms. Vandeventer started her investment sales experience with CB Richard Ellis with the multifamily investment sales team.  After two years, she was chosen to establish the brokerage firm, Southwest Residential Partners (aka Apartment Realty Advisors) with the top two CBRE investment brokers in the country.  Ms. Vandeventer was instrumental in the design of the corporate identity package and designed and produced all marketing and collateral materials such as offering documents, sales brochures, company brochures, print advertisements, newsletters, direct mail pieces and web site design.  Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis, Ms. Vandeventer was involved in the management and new business for Alliance Communities, a national Class-A multifamily development and management company.  While at Alliance, she was directly responsible for growing the Texas region by 91% over an 18-month period.
